The scope of the project is the development of public space upgrading solutions through the supply and installation of smart city and smart sustainable mobility systems. The interventions of the Municipality aim at the functional and aesthetic upgrading of the public space in the area of the Open Shopping Centre of Byron, having as guidelines the bioclimatic design, energy saving, the improvement of accessibility for people with disabilities in the area and the use of modern smart city and sustainable mobility systems and applications.

Controlled Parking System

The Controlled Parking System installed to serve part of the intervention area where the Byron Open Shopping Centre is planned to operate, with the implementation of an intelligent automated availability control system for on-street controlled parking spaces, as well as for special parking spaces (disabled and supply areas). The aim of the pilot operation of this system is to create more controlled parking spaces.
