Smart City / Municipality Guide with registration of local businesses and promotion of offers
The basic object of the proposed action is the creation of a digital product to strengthen, stimulate economic activity and promotion of business activity that develops in the wider area of our Municipality.
With the implementation of the e-platform, it is expected
- to observe an immediate increase in traffic in the local market
- to achieve stimulation of small and medium-sized businesses.
- to establish the concept of the open market as an attractive destination for consumers,
by enriching the experience of the visiting citizen/consumer with elements that they are used to finding in closed shopping centres.
The operation will further contribute to the creation of experiential consumer habits, with a positive impact on the qualitative, balanced and sustainable economic development of the study area. This development aims
- in the short term to increase the visibility and competitiveness of the area as a commercial pole and strengthen the local economy,
- in the long term it is expected to contribute positively to the social and economic cohesion of the study area as a whole.
Smart energy management systems for municipal and school buildings
The proposed solution to be implemented in 60 buildings of the Municipality of Kalamata should be an integrated solution that serves:
- Data collection from energy resources (Electricity, Gas, Water)
- Data processing
- Visualization
At the same time, the platform allows scalability, as the requirements increase, in order to cover the most demanding implementations, installed in the Cloud.
Finally, it should provide a highly friendly visualization environment and the possibility to display information in different ways, fully configurable by the user. At the same time, the user can transform-contextualize any kind of data, coming from completely heterogeneous environments or parts of different geographical areas.
The implemented system will act as a management system for the municipality, to control and understand the consumption of energy resources, at the different points of interest, with the ultimate goal of rationalizing their use and reducing both costs and carbon footprint.
The application and can constitute an integrated environment (‘ecosystem’), ‘intelligent’ management of the energy infrastructure of the Municipality, with a wide range of possibilities for configuration, scalability and interoperability.
