Attica's Smart City Platform
The aim of the project is to connect all the smart city applications under development to interoperate under a single information environment and to connect data from heterogeneous information monitoring and sensor systems already available in the Region.
The object of the project is the creation of a Digital Platform “Smart City” that will include:
- Interconnection of the LED Street Lighting Management System with the Smart City Platform
- Management System of the Conventional Vehicle Fleet of the Region of Attica, which concerns a total of one hundred and ninety-five (195) vehicles.
- System of fifty-five (55) Smart Information Stations “Infokiosk”
- System of fifty-five (55) Smart Rest Stations “Bench”
The offered Platform connects devices, people, processes with a broad and open approach.
The main focus is to improve the quality of life and create measurable benefits for citizens and businesses without administrative burden on District staff.
The Platform provides an operations control centre with dashboards, where the overall picture of operations is captured in an easy to understand way on the same screen to minimise operational complexity between services and assist decision making by managers on the basis of “real – live” data.
